So this is how it all started…

There were two of us that created Doorstep Décor - Cheryl and Jacki.

Cheryl has always been the crafty and creative sister. Having studied fine arts and interior design (along with many visits to Home Goods, IKEA and other stores alike) she developed an eye for “what works” in home décor. As a stay at home mom of 3, she’s always found different things to do to keep her sanity-I mean make some money. So that’s how she found her way onboard.

The other half of this thing is the lucky, tech savvy and absolutely hysterical sister, Jacki. She always has big ideas, which is kind of where this idea came from. “I’ve been watching a ton of TikTok videos. Let’s get a Cricut and get crafting!” And soon after they found themselves creating handmade merchandise for your humble abodes.

Fast-forward 6 months, and life starts to head back to “normal”, post-pandemic. Jacki returned to working her full-time job and Cheryl continues to create the stylish items that you see here at Doorstep Décor.

Mission

I’ve decided to continue this small business stuff in hopes to bring you stylish items for your home environment. I understand that your home is unique, therefore it’s décor should be too. My handcrafted items are made to order and custom, so there won’t be another one out there! I started with signs and mats, but have recently expanded the repertoire to other home items, which helps keep you surprised! I hope you enjoy what I have to offer and I am excited to have one of my items displayed in your home!
